Busy busy week.

Things just seem to be just pretty much madness lately. Lots of things seem to be happening. Which is good. But means I can go from one extreme (mega hectic) to the other (painfully quiet) the next. Not good for my mentality. But yeah, this year seems to be heading in the direction that I want it to, so I'm feeling pretty good. Last week, I paid a visit to lovely Dan at Supersuper, and he's getting me involved with the mag, which is really exciting and very flattering. So been busy photographing Fashion Icons which I find in my everyday life. For my own records, I've named it I love Grandma. But it's more just anyone over the usual age barrier that I find intriguing or inspirational, but who usually get side-stepped in the 'fashion' world. Here's a sneak peak of a picture, of Abdul (hope that's how you spell it), who is one of the kind of people that I love. We got chatting for about 45mins. and we spoke about all sorts: photography, fashion, etc. I'm at some point this year, going to travel down to Falmouth and do a series of photographs on him. I don't meet enough people like Adbul. Down to earth, but excited about what is possible by us as creatives and beings. Daisy also documented it, so that shall be uploaded at some point. Anyway..blab.

More lovely people this way. Also whilst I was in London, I got involved with the current Rankin project, which will be exhibited in August. My face shall be amoungst 1000 others. ha. Here's my portrait:

I then got to visit my new baby nephew, aunty and my momma. Which was a much needed little family time. Really craving a holiday right now. Got a couple of other little projects happening at the moment. I'm constantly looking for new models, so do get in touch if you're interested, and who knows where your face may end up. Shooting an 'air hostess' themed shoot for club night Blasphemy in Leeds tomorrow morning. Have about half an hour in the studio, so that shall be interesting to see what turns out. I'm off to try a new fish dish and take some chilli round to hard-working tim. Bye alis
